Job Description
Collaborate closely with project managers to develop commercial site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Engage in sub-division design and visit job sites to ensure construction aligns with design specifications. Consult with clients and work with city and government organizations to gather information essential for design. Manage multiple projects, typically lasting 1-2 weeks each, and be involved in the process from initial surveying to final permitting stages, which could take 2-3 months for small projects and 4-5 months for larger projects.

Work Environment
The work involves suburban commercial site plans and residential subdivisions across IA and surrounding states. The firm consists of 8 PEs, 5 Land Surveying crews, and Landscape Architects, totaling 40 people. Enjoy a collaborative and fun work atmosphere with regular team outings, including golf outings and office amenities like a ping pong table. While the focus is on meeting deadlines with intensity and energy, the environment is laid-back and supportive. All work is office-based, with the freedom to visit sites as necessary.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Urbandale, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $58.00/hr.
