Mailroom Coordinator
Coordinate and assist in the efficient processing of incoming and outgoing deliveries with the U.S. Post Office and common carriers while maintaining high customer service standards. Help to train staff and student employees in the proper sort sequence and logistical staging of mail for campus delivery. Ability to meet daily requirements in processing 1.25 million pieces of mail annually. Problem-solving capabilities and organizational skills to achieve department goals. Ability to understand and utilize programmable equipment. Knowledge in file maintenance and data base management.

Requisite Qualifications
High School diploma required. Some college classes or training in business tracking and postal systems would be beneficial.
Previous experience in corporate or university mail center operations preferred. Experience organizing and directing the activities of others and demonstrated training skills necessary.
Must have and maintain a valid California driver's license. Forklift certification a plus.

Salary range $23.51 - $29.38 Salary commensurate with education and experience.
