Responsibilities
Global cash operations and liquidity
- Prepare and distribute daily or weekly global cash position reporting across all entities and bank accounts in US, Europe, and Asia.
- Monitor global receipts and disbursements, highlight variances vs. expectation, and communicate cash impacts by region and currency.
- Support funding decisions including intercompany cash movements, short-term liquidity planning, and coordination of cash buffers by region.
- Maintain cash forecasting inputs; partner with FP&A, AP, AR, and regional finance teams to improve forecast accuracy and cadence.
- Track and report material timing items (large customer receipts, payroll, VAT/GST, customs duties, tax payments, major vendor runs).
Global bank account administration and governance
- Manage the full global bank account lifecycle: open, close, maintain authorized signers, and manage documentation across multiple jurisdictions.
- Coordinate bank KYC, authorized signer updates, board resolutions, entity documents, and approvals with regional stakeholders.
- Maintain global bank account master data, bank portal entitlements, and ensure segregation of duties and dual-approval controls.
- Partner with Legal, Tax, and IT Security to ensure global compliance with local requirements and internal governance standards.
- Maintain an audit-ready repository of all bank documents, signatory matrices, and approval evidence.
Banking data management and standardized reporting
- Retrieve bank statements and activity data across global formats
- Standardize bank data into consistent global reporting views (balances, activity, fees, interest, exceptions) by entity, region, and currency.
- Support month-end close by ensuring bank reconciliations are complete, timely, and properly supported across global accounts.
- Establish and maintain a repeatable global reporting calendar that accounts for time zones, bank cutoffs, and local holidays.
Cross-border payments and bank relationship support
- Support execution and tracking of wires, ACH/SEPA, local payments, positive pay, and payment workflows in coordination with AP/Treasury.
- Assist with bank service requests, research items, and issue resolution across global relationship teams.
- Monitor bank fees globally, identify outliers or changes, and support service optimization and rationalization.
Continuous improvement and automation
- Reduce manual effort by improving bank data ingestion and reporting through automation (Power Query, scheduled extracts, standardized templates).
- Build and maintain SOPs for global cash positioning, bank admin processes, and reporting workflows.
- Identify control gaps and implement process improvements to reduce operational risk and improve reliability.
Qualifications
Required
- 3 to 7+ years in treasury, cash accounting, bank reconciliation, or related finance role with global scope.
- Proven experience managing bank account administration and controls (signers, entitlements, approvals) across multiple regions.
- Strong understanding of global bank activity and statement/reporting formats (BAI2 and at least one of MT940/camt/ISO formats preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query strongly preferred; Power Pivot a plus).
- Strong control mindset, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive access and approvals.
Preferred
- Experience in multi-currency cash management, FX exposure awareness, and cross-border funding support.
- ERP and treasury tooling familiarity (examples: NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics; TMS experience a plus).
- Experience coordinating across time zones and working with regional finance teams.
- Audit support experience for cash, banking controls, and SOX-type environments.
