Experience in PLC-5 to ControlLogix conversions. Project management for systems up to $10M. Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to lead automation projects for a dynamic industrial automation firm. This role requires expertise in PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS / DeltaV systems, along with project management capabilities. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and commission control systems while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring project profitability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement control system architectures (PLC, DCS, HMI / SCADA).
- Develop schematics, panels, and network designs (under 480VAC).
- Lead project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, and profitability.
- Commission systems on-site and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Manage client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
