The Bike Shop helps Raytheon programs successfully demonstrate solutions to their engineering problems. Our engineers and technicians provide quick-turn innovation design fabrication assembly test and demonstration services. Our vertically integrated team designs fabricates and tests mechanical electrical and software a fast paced highly collaborative work environment our projects range from proof of concept to flight hardware demonstration.

What You Will Do :

Lead the RAPID Software Development effort which tracks Bike Shop metrics.

Support and collaborate with multidisciplined teams in rapid reaction prototyping.

Troubleshooting issues and anomalies with hardware and / or software to identify root cause and implement and verify solutions.

Prioritize and handle multiple software engineering tasks concurrently.

Troubleshoot software and test equipment instrumentation.

Work in a multidiscipline engineering team environment.

Qualifications You Must Have :

Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 12 months or less relevant professional work experience.

Experience in rapid reaction prototype and development .

Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS / SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer :

Active and in-scope US security clearance of Secret or higher.

Experience with or exposure to various military platforms for weapons conveyance such as ships ground combat systems fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

Experience with instrumentation and collection of large data sets including the application of scripting or automation to data collection and analysis.

Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Experience in a direct customer facing role.

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) an agency of the Department of Defense handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education / training and key skills.
