Speech Language Pathologist - Inpatient Rehab PRN

The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for :

• Conducting thorough evaluations, including reviewing pertinent historical information, performing specific assessments, and documenting results. Clearly communicating findings and treatment plans to patients and families, while involving them in goal setting.
• Implementing treatment protocols with proficiency based on evaluations and patient needs, while consulting with healthcare professionals as necessary. Recognizing changes in patient conditions that necessitate modifications to care plans.
• Executing effective discharge planning and follow-up care. Ensuring documentation of patient care activities is accurate and timely, showcasing the patient's care journey from evaluation to discharge.
• Managing time efficiently to meet productivity expectations, maintaining an organized schedule while delivering compassionate and accessible patient care.
• Taking initiative for professional growth by pursuing continuing education opportunities and serving as a mentor to new staff and students.
