About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice Chancellor for Economic Mobility and Workforce Development to lead its mission of ending poverty and enhancing economic and social mobility through education and training. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, collaborative, and mission-driven leader with at least 7 years' of leadership experience in workforce development, economic mobility, or related fields. A Master's degree is required, with a preference for a doctorate, and a National Association of Workforce Development Professional (NAWDP) certification. The role involves serving as the chief spokesperson on workforce development policy, overseeing regional education and training centers, and collaborating with various government and business entities to meet the talent needs of the region. This is a pivotal time for the company, as it is experiencing significant growth and transformation, including a major investment in the future of higher education and workforce training. The Vice Chancellor will be responsible for nurturing the company's position in the regional workforce ecosystem, facilitating pathways for students into high-demand careers, and ensuring that education and training solutions are responsive to the needs of employers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in establishing and leading workforce programs, forging industry partnerships, and a strong background in grant writing and resource development. They should be committed to the company's mission, possess strategic acumen, and be passionate about service, with the ability to champion a holistic approach to workforce development that reflects the diverse and multicultural community the company serves.
