Software QA Analyst

Interview Process : Screens with me / / 1 Round in person interview We are looking to add an Automation Engineer to their team who has experience with Playwright and JavaScript! 1. Looking for a junior to mid-level candidate 2. Playwright experience is a must 3. JavaScript experience is a must 4. Want this person to have some SQL experience This position is a software-testing role working with an integrated agile team consisting of a scrum master, product owners, developers, and quality assurance testers. The primary objective for this position is to plan, create, and execute a suite of UI and API automated tests based on business requirements as they pertain to changes within the software products. Priority Technical Skills to Focus on Responsibilities Review business requirements. Analyze functional system changes and integration points. Create test strategies, plans, UI and API automated tests based on analysis. Prioritize tests based on high, medium, and low criticality. Write automated tests based on test plan covering all phases of testing. Review test plan and automated tests with the agile team. Execute functional, integration and regression test cases. Identify and record defects in ADO. Provide support and retesting during user acceptance testing. Work collaboratively with project teams, change and release management, application support teams to ensure transparent, integrated processes and seamless support delivery. Keep up to date with standards and requirements of software quality assurance best practices. Qualifications Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills. Minimum of 3 years experience in quality assurance testing. Experience writing test cases and plans. Experience testing web applications. Experience using Azure DevOps or equivalent and agile project tools. Experience with test automation using tools such as Playwright, Cucumber, or Selenium. Experience using Postman, Swagger or equivalent. Basic understanding of methods and processes used in Application Lifecycle Management and industry standard software quality assurance practices. Experience with Agile. Proven problem solving and analytical skills. Associated Degree in a Computer Science field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
