Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare setting in Newark, OH is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a contract position during the upcoming school year. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy services, including teletherapy.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy for pediatric patients within educational or healthcare settings
  • Deliver teletherapy services effectively and maintain accurate documentation of patient progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain compliance with all licensing and certification requirements
  • Support health and educational goals tailored to each child's needs, promoting communication skills and overall development

Qualifications :

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs or valid certification / licensure for SLPAs
  • Experience working in pediatric healthcare or school environments
  • Proficiency in teletherapy practices and related technology platforms
  • Knowledge of evidence-based speech-language pathology techniques and interventions
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Availability for the duration of the school year contract
