What You'll Do

At SimpliSafe, our corporate IT Team does more than fix laptops—we empower every team member to do their best work. As part of the Information Technology and Global Supply (CIOGS) organization, led by our Chief Information and Global Supply Officer, we ensure that SimpliSafers feel supported, connected, and confident in their technology .

We're looking for a Network Engineer II to join our IT Infrastructure Team in Richmond, Virginia . In this role, you'll report to our IT Manager, Infrastructure, and have a strong relationship with our Senior IT Manager, User Solutions, who oversees our Richmond end-user support team :

• Support and maintain SimpliSafe's enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable connectivity across offices and remote users — critical to keeping our 24 / 7 / 365 Richmond operations up and running.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues while partnering with IT, InfoSec, and business teams to deliver scalable, resilient solutions.
• Enhance and safeguard network performance by monitoring availability, documenting configurations, and applying best practices to maintain business continuity.

You'll spend most of your time on-site at our two Richmond locations , where your presence will make a direct impact. We occasionally offer remote work flexibility when business demands allow, but being present in person is key to ensuring seamless support for our teams.

The standard schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 9 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. ; however, alternative schedules may be available, including Sunday–Thursday (business hours) , Sunday–Wednesday (longer days) , Monday–Saturday (business hours) , or Monday–Friday second shift (~12 : 00 p.m.–9 : 00 p.m.) .

The target annual base pay range for this role is $99,000 to $110,000.

This target annual base pay range represents our good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this role. We use a market-based compensation approach to set our target annual base pay ranges and make adjustments annually. We carefully tailor individual compensation packages, including base pay, taking into consideration employees' job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and other relevant business factors.
