If you are looking for a dynamic night shift role that offers variety and growth, our Internal Float Pool is the perfect fit. You will rotate between ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support units at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, gaining invaluable experience with each shift.

Your responsibilities will include providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process while ensuring safe and therapeutic services according to established standards. Engage with patients and their families, assessing needs and planning care collaboratively. You'll work to identify significant changes in patients' conditions and respond effectively, utilizing a team-based approach.

Additionally, you are expected to foster patient safety by proactively addressing potential risks and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional development while contributing to a supportive and respectful team environment.

Licenses & Certifications :

Current Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.

Degrees :

Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.

Required Functional Experience :

Typically requires at least 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

You should demonstrate a commitment to holistic patient care, excellent communication, and teamwork skills. Proficiency in using electronic health records is essential, along with the capability to make critical decisions independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Certification Addendum : Team members must maintain annual educational requirements for hospital-based certifications.
