Are you a board-certified or board-eligible Urology Physician seeking a locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania? A facility near Middleport, PA, is seeking coverage for inpatient urology services.

Position Overview

  • Schedule

1-2 weekends per month.

  • Coverage from Friday 4 : 00 PM through Monday 7 : 00 AM.
  • Responsibilities

    • Handle consultations from the emergency department and hospital.

  • Perform surgeries in the main OR.
  • Manage urology-specific cases including gross hematuria, stones, urine retention, and difficult catheter insertions.

    • Patient Information

  • Age Range

    • Adolescents (16+) to geriatrics.

  • Patient Volume

    • Average of 2-4 new consults per day.

    Requirements

  • Licenses & Certifications

    • Active Pennsylvania medical license.

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • DEA and Pennsylvania CSR.
  • Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years in general urology care.

  • Preferred

    • Familiarity with Epic EMR.

    Additional Details

  • Privileges

    • Must be secured before start date ( 60 days).

  • Orientation

    • 16 hours of non-billable orientation provided.

  • Vaccination Requirements

    • Proof of flu vaccine or an approved exemption.
