This role manages a team of impact evaluators and data analysts, guiding their work to generate actionable insights that inform program improvement and strategic decisions. The Impact Evaluation Manager fosters a culture of learning, performance, and collaboration, supporting WWPs mission to serve warriors and their families with integrity and impact. / ph3Duties Responsibilities / h3pProgram Evaluation Leadership : / pulliDevelop and oversee implementation of evaluation strategies and plans that assess program effectiveness, efficiency, and impact across the organization. / liliGuide the design of mixed-methods evaluations and survey methodologies, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data sources. / liliLead the development of KPIs and logic models that reflect program theory and strategic goals. / liliCollaborate closely with peer leaders in warrior research and program data governance to ensure alignment in research priorities, data quality practices, and shared methodologies across the Mission Data Insights function. / li / ulpStakeholder Engagement and Collaboration : / pulliTranslate complex evaluation findings into accessible, evidence-based insights that meet high standards of data quality and rigor, supporting continuous improvement. / liliCollaborate with MDI leaders and peer stakeholders through working groups and strategic initiatives to harmonize data standards, operationalize tools, and improve efficiency and consistency across the Mission Data Insights team. / liliBuild and maintain collaborative relationships with internal departments and external partners to support data sharing, alignment, and impact communication. / li / ulpData Monitoring and Reporting : / pulliProvide oversight for the development and use of survey tools, dashboards, and reporting systems that enhance organizational learning and decision-making. / liliPartner across data governance, IT, and program teams to drive cross-functional alignment and integrate evaluation, research, and reporting practices into a cohesive data strategy. / liliReview and approve evaluation reports and executive summaries to ensure stakeholder needs are met and align with organizational communication standards. / li / ulpOperational Management : / pulliDefine team goals and individual objectives aligned with WWPs strategic priorities, while managing staff capacity and project pipelines to adapt to evolving organizational needs. / liliLead and develop a team of evaluation and data analysts through coaching, mentoring, performance feedback, and professional development. / liliOversee evaluation team operations, including adherence to timelines, budgets, and compliance with organizational procedures and data governance. / liliSupport strategic initiatives through evaluation planning, monitoring, and cross-functional coordination. / liliFoster a positive, innovative, and collaborative team culture that encourages continuous learning, curiosity, and accountability. / liliAttend and actively participate in required training and / or meetings, including but not limited to New Teammate Orientation, WWP Cares, ASIST Suicide Prevention training, Leadership training, culture / team based training, or departmental huddles. / liliOther related duties as assigned. / li / ulh3Knowledge, Skills, Abilities / h3ulliAdvanced knowledge of program evaluation theories, performance measurement, logic modeling, and outcomes-based evaluation. / liliDemonstrated leadership in managing professional staff and cross-functional teams, using strengths-based leadership principles to develop, motivate, and retain high-performing talent. / liliProficiency in evaluation and analytics tools, including Qualtrics, Power BI, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and statistical software for analysis and reporting. / liliProven ability to lead complex projects, make data-informed decisions, and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining high-quality work and meeting deadlines. / liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences, anticipate stakeholder concerns, and respond with empathy and precision. / liliStrong interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills, including the ability to ask critical questions, listen actively, and foster a customer-centric approach across teams. / liliExpertise in data stewardship, including best practices for collecting, storing, managing, and sharing data to guide strategic initiatives. / liliExceptional documentation and reporting skills, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data management processes. / pulliSeven years of experience in data analytics, program evaluation, or impact measurement, preferably within a nonprofit, healthcare, or social services organization. / liliFive years of experience managing multi-method evaluations and presenting findings to senior leadership. / liliFive years of experience handling and analyzing large, complex datasets in Excel, R, SAS, STATA, Python, or similar statistical tools. / liliThree years of staff management experience. / li / ulpstrongPreferences / strong / pulliFive years of experience in a nonprofit setting or working with military- or veteran-focused organizations. / liliExperience applying advanced analytical methods, including machine learning, for predictive and prescriptive modeling. / liliExperience leading strategic evaluations tied to organizational planning or scaling. / li / ulh3Education / h3pstrongRequirements / strong / pulliMasters degree in statistics, public health, social sciences, business, data science, or related field.
