Patient Engagement Advocate

A company is looking for a Patient Engagement Center Advocate to provide service to patients and providers through inbound and outbound calls.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly to incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments in the EMR system

Document patient requests and information clearly in the EMR

Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and maintain knowledge of site protocols and physician schedules

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED

1+ years of experience in a call center, customer service, medical office, or as a receptionist

Previous medical office experience preferred; optometric or ophthalmic experience strongly preferred

Proficiency in using multiple computer programs simultaneously

Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
