Position Overview
TeamGOV is seeking an experienced National Computerized Maintenance Management System (NCMMS) Specialist to support our GSA facilities operations team in Kansas City, Missouri. The NCMMS Specialist will play a key role in managing, maintaining, and optimizing the CMMS used to track, schedule, and document preventive and corrective maintenance across federal facilities.
This position requires a professional with strong analytical skills, CMMS expertise (preferably IBM Maximo or similar), and prior experience supporting GSA or other federal government building operations contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all NCMMS-related activities under the GSA O&M contract.
- Manage and maintain accurate asset, work order, and preventive maintenance data within the CMMS.
- Ensure compliance with GSA reporting and data integrity standards, including timely and accurate work order updates.
- Generate and analyze system reports related to maintenance performance, backlog, and asset condition.
- Support system users by providing training, troubleshooting, and technical assistance.
- Coordinate with GSA representatives and TeamGOV project management to ensure all CMMS requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to CMMS usage and reporting.
- Assist in the integration of CMMS data with other building management systems (e.g., BAS, procurement, or energy systems).
- Support audits, performance evaluations, and quality control reviews related to maintenance data and documentation.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working with CMMS platforms (IBM Maximo preferred).GSA or federal facilities experience required—familiarity with GSA O&M performance requirements, reporting, and documentation standards.Strong understanding of facility maintenance operations, asset management, and preventive maintenance processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data reporting tools.Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, IT, or a related field preferred.U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass federal background screening required.About TeamGOV
