How will you make an impact on this role?
- Function as an active member of a software engineering team by contributing to
software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common
components, and documentation)
Delivery of business requirements by developing on enterprise frameworks in JavaParticipate in code reviews and automated testingDebug basic software components and identify code defects for remediationSupport and monitoring of software through test, integration, and productionenvironments
Automate deployments in test or production environmentsAdhere to security and regulatory best practicesMinimum Qualifications
Expert-level knowledge of Java and building REST APIs; experience with Spring Boot preferred.Keen understanding of application architecture and design, preferably in a cloud-native environmentAbility to identify coding and environmental issues relating to design, stability, and scalabilityStrong experience with developing code for Relational and NoSQL databasesExperience in Agile development, automated testing, and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD)Willingness and ability to lead complex cross-team initiatives without direct authorityLearn new technologies quickly and be able to leverage their benefits to enhance existing softwareBachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field requiredPreferred Qualifications
Experience in building component-based applications with modern frontend frameworks, with preference of React / ReduxExperience in building component-based applications with modern backend frameworks, with preference of Spring Boot and VertxStrong sense of extreme ownership and a big proponent of DevOps culture.Performance testing experience including root cause analysis and resolution for complicated issuesExperience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and working in a large matrixed organization.Business Product Knowledge - Working knowledge of the finance and credit lending industry.Development skills in industry standard languages and tools such as Java, GitHub and IntelliJSalary Range : $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
