Telework Eligible? Hybrid with regular presence on site required. Qualified candidate must live within a two-hour driving distance from San Diego, CA.

As a Training and Development Specialist, Navy Avionics Technician (AT-O) , you will play a critical role in supporting the development and validation of military training systems and materials. This position supports Navy training modernization efforts by ensuring training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with organizational-level maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep operational knowledge of Navy avionics systems, maintenance practices, and training requirements, combined with a strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

Training Development & Validation

• Review and validate training materials to ensure accuracy, technical soundness, and operational relevance.
• Audit curricula to confirm alignment with Navy maintenance procedures and instructional design best practices.
• Collaborate with Instructional Systems Analysts to identify training requirements and translate technical knowledge into effective training solutions.
• Support the development of maintenance-related assessment items and performance metrics.
