- ​Department : Surgical Unit 2T
- Shift timing : Night Shift 18 : 45-07 : 15 Hours Monday to friday
- Per Week : 36 Hours.
- This department is a 22 unit, serving Medical / Surg adult patients and does have telemetry capability.
- Nurse to patient ratio is 1 : 5-6 on days and 1 : 6-7 on nights.
- Care for patients pre and post surgery and patients on heparin and lasix drips.
- The unit is also supported by PCTs and a Healthcare unit coordinator.
- Additional Support Mon-Thur includes a Clinical Supervisor on days and nights.
- Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring is available as well as monitor techs to monitor those on telemet
