Duration : 2.5-month contract (40 hours / week; 480 total hours )

Overview
The Document Custodian – Vault Analyst is responsible for the physical handling, organization, and custodianship of sensitive bank documents maintained within a secure vault environment. This role supports internal banking operations by ensuring documents are accurately stored, retrieved, tracked, and safeguarded in accordance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and internal control standards.
The position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and strong organizational skills , along with the ability to work in a secure, controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, store, and retrieve physical documents within a secure vault environment.
- Maintain accurate records and tracking logs for documents entering or leaving the vault.
- Ensure documents are handled in accordance with bank security, privacy, and compliance standards .
- Conduct regular inventory checks to confirm document accuracy and completeness.
- Support audits, reviews, and internal requests related to document custody and tracking.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of vault storage areas.
- Follow established procedures for document retention, access controls, and chain-of-custody requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding document requests and status.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Scope of Responsibilities
This role works onsite in a secure vault environment , interacting with internal bank teams as needed to support document management and custody requirements. Strict adherence to security protocols and internal controls is required at all times.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or experience in records management or custodial roles preferred.Ability to lift and carry 30–40 pounds on a regular basis.Ability to stand for extended periods of time during the workday.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills .Ability to follow detailed procedures and security protocols.Reliable, dependable work ethic with the ability to work scheduled hours onsite.Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in document custody, records management, vault operations, or banking operations .Experience working in secure or controlled environments .Familiarity with inventory tracking or document management processes.
