Working Conditions
This position requires 100% on-site work. Works inside and outside in all kinds of weather; is exposed to accidents due to traffic hazards.
Minimum Essential Qualifications
Knowledge : Some knowledge of geographic location of city streets.
Skills / Abilities : Ability to make simple line drawings; ability to operate or learn to operate calculator and computer; ability to read maps; ability to work outside for extended periods of time; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, fellow employees and the public; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is needed for generating reports based on data collection.
Physical Requirements : Essential : Constantly sees and hears; frequently stands, sits, bends and lifts objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
Education / Experience : Graduation from high school or equivalent including courses in mathematics and computers, or sufficient background to acquire necessary experience rapidly; experience in the operation of personal computers desired.
