The Opportunity with McKinstry
We are adding a Fire Protection Designer II to our growing Fire Protection division in Spokane, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for :
Attending BIM coordination meetings.
Making necessary changes and provide detailed feedback to Senior designer.
Modifying generic layout to meet code and project spec's provided at Sales handoff.
Assisting in submittal package including hydraulic calculations.
Performing other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
Effective written and verbal communication skills required.
Proficient in AutoCAD & Revit required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based software systems required. Ability to prioritize tasks required.
Ability to deal with conflict and build positive team relationships required.
Has or can obtain Nicet Level II in water-based layout within 6 months of hire required.

The pay range for this position is $32.84 - $49.54 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid on an hourly basis. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
