Job Opportunity : Vehicle Operator I

Under general supervision, the role involves driving and operating special purpose vehicles and equipment consistent with the specified class evaluation factors. Examples of duties include operating mounted equipment, loading and unloading materials, planning sequences of operations, changing various attachments, directing the work activities of assigned helpers, performing minor maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment, and assisting in repairs during inclement weather.

Minimum qualifications include high school graduation or GED, and two years of experience in the operation of special purpose vehicles and equipment.
