What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor the location for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.

Collaborate with campus staff, students, and visitors to support a secure environment and address security-related inquiries.

Assist with access control measures, verifying identification, and helping to manage entry and exit points as directed.

Minimum Requirements :

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
