Project Engineer – Water Resources / Marine Design (Remote / Hybrid)

The Opportunity :

Tetra Tech is adding a Project Engineer to provide technical support to Project Managers in the design and implementation of a variety of Civil Engineering projects, including marinas, seawalls, docks, stormwater systems, and ecosystem restoration projects.

The successful candidate will assist with design development, report preparation, and construction documentation, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in water resources and marine infrastructure engineering.

This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment supporting innovative projects that enhance and protect coastal and inland environments.

Essential Job Functions :

• Utilize CADD to prepare design drawings for a variety of civil and water resource projects.
• Assist Project Managers with the preparation of engineering reports and technical documentation.
• Prepare project specifications in support of construction bidding and implementation.
• Support construction oversight and field-related engineering tasks as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Perform assigned tasks in accordance with Tetra Tech's safety, quality, and project management standards.
• Ensure all work complies with internal procedures, legislative requirements, and industry standards.
• Maintain a strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
• Support project managers and engineering leads in plan development, documentation, and project delivery.
• Work safely at all times and promptly report any health and safety incidents or concerns.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
