Cath Lab / EP Lab Tech

Responsibilities

RN, previous Cath Lab experience is required.

RESPONSIBLE FOR :

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab / EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct / indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED :

RCIS program graduate or a graduate of program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

RCIS program graduate or a graduate of program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology.

MINIMUM LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :

Based on healthcare experienced (see above) applicable license required. If a graduate of RCIS program, no license is required, however RCIS must be obtained within 24 months of hire.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :

BCLS and ACLS Required
