EHS Manager Opportunity

Avantor is looking for an EHS Manager to join our organization, supporting EHS programs within our chemical manufacturing site!

This role will be a full-time, onsite position in Saint Louis, MO.

What We're Looking For

• Education : Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a safety & technical field, or other related discipline; or a combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Experience : 5+ years' experience in EHS or other related environment.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Must have a strong working knowledge of operational and technical issues and concepts, and an understanding of the associate EHS requirements.
• Working knowledge of industrial hygiene analysis and best practices as well as medical monitoring programs.
• Excellent interpersonal skill, including strong oral and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills required to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Preferred Qualifications :
• Chemical manufacturing experience highly preferred.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification nice to have.
