Overview

The Finance Lead will oversee and implement all accounting and finance functions for the company. This includes managing the transition from external to internal accounting, as well as handling reporting, forecasting, and ad hoc analytics.

We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Finance Lead with a proven track record as an individual contributor in early-stage companies, particularly in finance and accounting roles. The ideal candidate will have led or supported Series A and B fundraising effortseither within startups or established tech companiesand will bring a deep understanding of the financial challenges and opportunities that accompany rapid growth. Experience in the tech-enabled healthcare space is highly desirable.

This individual thrives in dynamic environments, demonstrating the agility to build financial infrastructure from the ground up while guiding long-term strategy. They will play a critical role in scaling the finance and accounting function, aligning internal resources with evolving business needs. As the company grows, this leader will also be responsible for recruiting and developing top-tier finance talent, cultivating a collaborative and high-performance culture, and implementing best practices that drive operational excellence. Their leadership will be instrumental not only in meeting near-term financial goals but also in laying a durable foundation for future success.

Job Responsibilities

At first, the Finance Lead's job duties will be focused on creating the internal finance and accounting infrastructure, specifically :

• Internal Accounting : Work with the external accounting team to transition all of the book and recording-keeping and responsibilities within the company, including AR, AP, Collections, auditing, and financial reporting.
• Forecasting : Working with the internal data team to create and maintain the forecasts of the business. The creation of a monthly reporting package to the BoD and weekly flash reports is a key focus.
• Analysis : On an ad hoc basis, work with the COO to analyze the data to drive insights into the business.
• All other duties as assigned
