Turbine Mechanic - Full Time - Baton Rouge (LA), United States

Join our Services_AME team within Services division in United States as Turbine Mechanic to help us take Sulzer to the next level.
In this role you will be accountable for :
- Assemble machines utilizing the specified assembly checklist
- Disassemble and inspect machines utilizing the specified disassembly and inspection checklist
- Ability to operate overhead cranes, torches, grinders, and forklifts
- Must have experience in repair, rebuild of steam turbines including controls systems, safety systems such as overspeed trip systems, manual, hydraulic, and electronic governor controls
- Must have experience in inspecting critical components unique to steam turbines such as wheels, blades, governor and trip valves
- Ability to accurately measure and record, document dimensions
- Must understand the critical nature of steam turbine repairs and quality requirements due to potential safety related failures
