Bank Reconciliation Specialist

We are currently seeking Bank Reconciliation Specialist to join our Finance/Accounting Department. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company that offers competitive pay, a team-oriented atmosphere and excellent benefits.

Job Summary:

Perform analysis and reconciliations of banking reports and accounts, and handle other account analysis, as needed

General Duties/Responsibilities:

· Daily analyze and matching of banking transaction using Cadency Software (for deposit transactions) for 400-500 stores

· Monthly reconciliation of various Binks Accounts using Cadency Software

· Preparation of General ledger entries related to bank reconciliations

· New store sales reports

· Reconciliation of ACH/Wire Payments in Chase banking system

· Analysis of various GL account

· Reconciliation of credit card accounts

· Handling any issues related to bank accounts

· Performs other related duties as assigned

· Opening & Closing of individual bank accounts

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software as well as accounting software (T-Recs/IDM)

· Understanding of accounting procedures

· Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail

· Ability to manage confidential information

· Trintech , T-recs, Chesapeake or Bank Reconciliation software

Education and Experience:

· Degree in Accounting or Business related area required

· At least two years of experience in finance/ accounting role required

· Retail experience a plus

· Knowledge of bank reconciliations

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word
