We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens opportunity at an outpatient community health center near Tacoma, Washington. This is a great opportunity for physicians who are passionate about providing care to diverse and underserved populations.

Position Details :

• Start Date : November 4, 2024
• Contract Duration : 3 months with the possibility of extension
• Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, 40 hours per week, no call required
• Shift Length : 8-hour workday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
• Patient Volume : Up to 21 patients per day (newborns to geriatrics)
• Support Team : Each provider will have a dedicated medical assistant, along with access to mental health therapists, dietitians, pediatricians, and administrative support
• Setting : Outpatient clinic providing primary care to vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees
• Procedures : Basic family practice procedures such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care
• EMR System : Epic
