What Will You Do as a Fixed Assets Specialist?

As a Fixed Assets Specialist, you will :

• Review, process, and record fixed assets for existing restaurants, as well as new builds and remodels (primary focus on existing locations).
• Interpret and apply fixed asset policies and capitalization guidelines during reviews of invoices and construction documents.
• Process asset retirements when necessary.
• Review, repair, and maintenance accounts monthly for items eligible for capitalization.
• Scan and index the document to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Assist in preparing and processing accrual journal entries to record depreciation estimates for unbooked assets.
• Support special projects as needed in your role as a Fixed Assets Specialist.
