Hamlin House  is a Florida-inspired social and racquet club redefining hospitality in Orlando’s SoDo neighborhood. Spanning more than 28,000 square feet of indoor–outdoor space, the club features premium pickleball courts, curated cultural experiences, and a vibrant food and beverage program led by Chef John Fraser and JF Restaurants. JF Restaurants   is seeking passionate and experienced   Hosts  to join our esteemed team at Hamlin House.

About the Role :

The Host is the first and last point of contact with the guest and is responsible for greeting, seating and saying goodbye to all guests as well as maintaining the flow of the restaurant during service.

Responsibilities :

• Welcoming and seating guests accurately and professionally.
• Coordinating effective flow of guests and staff for a variety of events and high-volume services.
• Provide engaged, friendly, and attentive customer service to all guests inclusive of eye contact, respectable conversation and smiling.
• Ensure clear communication with guests always making genuine connections.
• Communicating effectively with management and dining room teams on guest updates, special occasions, allergies, table status, VIPs, etc.
• Estimating wait times for guests and maintaining the guest wait list.
• Orchestrate strategic seating plans.
• Understand tables configuration and optimization.
• Managing coat check in a clean and organized fashion.
• Identify guests in relation to their needs, regularity, and time of dining, food and drink choice, seat preference etc.
• Identify all regulars and VIP guests.
• Review all names in reservations and ensure special occasions (birthday, anniversary, etc.) are acknowledged and the allergies are flagged.
