Overview of Opportunity

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to drive the design and development of custom electronic systems that support critical cybersecurity and national security this role you will take ownership of mechanical design efforts engage deeply with multidisciplinary teams and contribute across the full product development lifecyclefrom requirements and modeling to prototyping testing and production readiness. This position is ideal for engineers with a solid mechanical engineering foundation who are ready to step into greater technical responsibility and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities :

• Contribute to mechanical design activities for custom electronic hardware including 3D CAD modeling detailed drawings and BOM development.
• Define interpret and manage mechanical requirements and interfaces for PCBs enclosures and integrated electronic assemblies.
• Drive prototyping mechanical validation and iterative design improvements using appropriate testing methods and tools.
• Collaborate with electrical manufacturing and program teams and interface with vendors to support fabrication procurement and production.
• Perform thermal structural and tolerance analyses to ensure designs meet performance reliability and environmental requirements.
