Key Responsibilities :
System Testing : Conduct thorough testing and verification of various building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation, to ensure they meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.Documentation : Prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation, reports, and test procedures to track system performance, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.Collaboration : Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and owners to align commissioning activities with project goals and timelines.Problem Solving : Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, developing innovative solutions to address challenges and ensure optimal functionality.Energy Efficiency : Identify opportunities for energy savings and sustainability enhancements in building operations, making recommendations for improvements.Client Interaction : Communicate effectively with clients, presenting commissioning findings and providing training to end-users to ensure a smooth transition to the operational phase.Quality Assurance : Maintain the highest standards of quality and precision throughout the commissioning process, ensuring that all systems meet or exceed industry standards.Relevant Previous Experience Areas :

Review of design documents (OPR, BOD, Plans and Specifications) for key informationReview of submittals and shop drawings for key informationAssist in developing Commissioning PlansAssist in developing project specific test scripts including Pre-Functional Checklists (PFC), Functional Performance Tests (FPT), and Integrated Systems Tests (IST).Onsite execution / witness of Pre-Functional ChecklistsAssist with execution of test protocolsAttend meeting led by senior staff, capturing and delivering meeting minutes to the project team.Backchecking Commissioning Issues in the fieldBasic Technical knowledge of system design, installation, operation and maintenance in the following areas :Mechanical Systems (HVAC)Electrical SystemsPlumbing SystemControls and AutomationBuilding Automation Systems (BAS, BMS, Etc.)Building EnvelopeRetro-Commissioning (RCx) and Energy Auditing Experience is a plusFull-time workConstant communicationLocal travel and some long-distance travel to jobsites.
