Salesforce Developer Hybrid (80% Onsite / 20% Remote)

Position Overview
The Arizona Department of Health Services is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team of developers, business analysts, and QA professionals. In this role, you will support the Licensing Management System (LMS) by developing new modules, enhancing existing Salesforce functionality, gathering requirements, performing routine updates, and producing technical documentation.
You will work in a highly customized Salesforce environment and collaborate within an Agile team while also operating independently when needed. This position is hybrid, requiring approximately 80% onsite work and 20% remote .
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance Salesforce modules using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex .
- Maintain and update a large and highly customized Salesforce environment.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, functional requirements, and test scenarios.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, process flows, and integration details.
- Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Integrate Salesforce with external applications using real-time, batch, synchronous, and asynchronous methods.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
- Utilize Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, DemandTools, Excel Connector, etc.) for data management.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Strong knowledge of multiple programming languages, database systems, and development platforms.Ability to translate user requirements into business, functional, and test scenarios for varied project sizes.Experience authoring technical documentation and functional requirements.Demonstrated experience in Salesforce application development .Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, APIs, and platform capabilities .Proficiency in :Apex classes & triggers

Prior Salesforce Developer experience within a large or highly customized environment.Salesforce Developer Certification (e.g., Platform Developer I or II).
