Environmental Administrative Assistant
This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in the Environmental Planning and Analysis (EC) and Historic Preservation, Cultural Resource Compliance (EH), Environment, Fish and Wildlife (E). A successful candidate in the Environmental Administrative Assistant position will serve as a point of contact for internal and external customer service and is responsible for the receipt and review of incoming tasks, and projects.
Responsibilities as an Environmental Administrative Assistant include :
- Providing administrative support to two organizations, Environmental Planning and Analysis (EC) and Historic Preservation, Cultural Resource Compliance (EH).
- Completing a broad range of administrative tasks including managing extremely active calendars, proofreading correspondence, and answering routine questions.
- Developing and maintaining the day-to-day and long-range calendars for GS15 level Executives as well as Supervisors within the EC / EH / EW Organization.
- Reviewing all correspondence submitted to ensure completeness of documentation, proper coordination, and compliance with requirements.
- Reviewing and maintaining timecards for all EC / EH / EW staff, and sending out reminder emails for bi-weekly manager approvals.
- Attending meetings and taking minutes / notes, transcribing / drafting and distributing as appropriate; arranging for representation by others if necessary.
- Making travel arrangements, preparing itineraries and working closely with individual traveler and manager for approval.

Specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) in the Federal service.You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows : Master's or equivalent graduate degree; or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or a LL.B. or J.D. if related.
