Director of Coding Compliance

A company is looking for a Director, Coding and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of hospital coding, abstracting, and denial management

Collaborate with clinical teams to enhance documentation and reduce denials

Establish and report on departmental KPIs related to coding accuracy and compliance

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or associate degree in Health Information Management or related field (RHIA or RHIT)

Coding certification as a CCS is required

Three years of management experience in a Health Information Management department

Four years of coding / DRG experience, preferably in an acute care teaching hospital

Experience with project management and computer systems implementation
