Requirements to qualify : Option I : Four (4) years of experience in an advisory capacity independently : conducting administrative investigations or mediations, or implementing Equal Employment Opportunity Programs aligned with federal regulations. One year of the required experience can be substituted by a bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, Liberal Arts, English, or equivalent. Option II : A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited college or university AND one (1) year of experience in an advisory capacity independently : conducting administrative investigations or mediations, or implementing Equal Employment Opportunity Programs aligned with federal regulations.
License : A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
Physical Class : Physical Class II Light : This class includes administrative and clerical positions requiring light physical effort that may include occasional light lifting to a 10-pound limit and some bending, stooping, or squatting. Considerable ambulation may be involved.

Once we verify that you meet the requirements, we will invite you to participate in the following assessments. Examination Content : This examination will consist of 2 parts : PART I : Multiple-choice and / or simulation assessments weighted at 80% measuring Professional Potential, Achievement, Coping with Uncertainty, Responsibility, Working to High Quality Standards, Willingness to Learn, Working Relationships, Analyzing Information, Learning Quickly, Generating New Ideas, Using Time Efficiently, Adapting to Change, Reading Comprehension and Deductive Reasoning. PART II : A Writing Assessment weighted 20% measuring English Structure and Content, Written Expression, and Prioritizing Information. Applicants must meet the requirements and receive a passing score of 70% or higher on each weighted part in order to be placed on the eligible list.
Eligibility and Vacancy Information : Candidates who passed the assessment are placed on a list in the order of their score group for a period of six (6) months. We will use this list to fill vacancies as they occur.
