What You'll Do :

• Work with Inspector / Packer and Kitting Supervisor to stock items necessary to the packing function including silver saver paper, pallets, crate lids and walls, and foam.
• Gather materials to assemble crates, using hand tools, such as a box cutter and hammer.
• Stacks crates and / or boxes on pallets according to directions.
• Weigh all crates and document weights on applicable set weight sheets, as instructed.
• Assist Inspector / Packer with palletizing overflow parts from incomplete sets, ensuring that parts are stored correctly to prevent damage.
• Operate stand-up and / or sit-down forklifts to move both raw materials and finished parts and pieces to and from the Kitting cell as instructed.
• Maintain a clean work environment, assisting with special projects related to the cleanliness and organization of the department as assigned by the department Supervisor.
• Assist operators in basic tasks as needed to complete production.
• Follows all required safety guidelines.
