Job Description :
The Management Communication Center in the Warrington College of Business invites applications for full-time Assistant-In Teaching faculty with a focus on business writing. These Assistant-In Teaching faculty will staff breakout sections of the core undergraduate course, GEB2216, Professional Writing, under the direct supervision of the course's lead instructors. The lead instructor creates the curriculum, teaches a weekly lecture, and manages the Assistant-In Teaching faculty.

The job duties for the Assistant-In Teaching position include :
The candidates must have flexible schedules and be able to teach in the mornings, afternoon, and / or evenings. Additionally, Assistant-In Teaching faculty are expected to contribute service to the Management Communication Center and maintain professional qualifications by participating in workshops, webinars, and other professional development activities. Ideal candidates will support the established aims of the Assistant-In team while bringing new ideas and a fresh perspective to the curriculum.
Support will be provided, including administrative assistance, workspace, computers, and other resources. To encourage and facilitate their professional development, Assistant-In Teaching faculty at the University of Florida are eligible for promotion through the ranks of Assistant-In Teaching, Associate-In Teaching, and Senior Associate-In Teaching.
Expected Salary :
$52,000 - $60,000 commensurate with experience
