About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med / Surg / Tele RN in Prescott, Arizona, 86301!

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

• Ability to read basic telemetry strips.
• Some experience with cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) and transient ischemic attacks (TIA).
• Experience with total joint replacement.

Description :

The clinician must take and pass the dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing the contract.

If the clinician fails to score 80% in two attempts, they will be disqualified for a specified duration.

Candidates may not have worked full-time, part-time, or PRN with any associated facilities within the past year.

The unit is a telemetry unit.

The nurse must interpret telemetry strips and sign at least once per shift.

There are both charge nurses and house supervisors present.

Nurse aides are available on this unit, with a ratio of 1 : 10-15.

Equipment used includes BiPap, CPAP, and breathing treatments.

Schedules are made out for four weeks with self-scheduling utilized, though final approval is made by management.

Weekend requirement includes working two weekends per four-week schedule.

For major holidays, the expectation is to work two days, including either a day or evening.

Float requirements may include working in other units if qualified.

Dress code requires navy blue scrubs.

The charting system in use is Cerner.
