About this Role

NorthStar Energy Solutions, a provider of engineering, design, procurement, and construction services for the oil & gas, pipeline, petrochemical, bulk storage, and terminal sectors, is seeking a dedicated Field Safety Representative - Distribution . This role provides on-site safety leadership and support for distribution line projects, ensuring compliance with OSHA, industry, and company standards.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary safety resource on active distribution projects, monitoring field activities and enforcing safe work practices.
• Conduct daily jobsite safety observations, tailboard meetings, and hazard assessments.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, client requirements, and company safety policies.
• Partner with field leadership and superintendents to identify risks, implement corrective measures, and drive a zero-incident culture.
• Deliver safety training, coaching, and mentoring to crews, particularly around energized distribution work and equipment operation.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; complete reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and maintaining site-specific safety plans and emergency response procedures.
• Track and report safety metrics, inspection results, and training compliance.
• Act as a liaison with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory representatives regarding safety matters.
