Pay range : $20.00 per hour

Employment Status : Temporary (May-June 2026 through August 2026)

About this position :

Come join NorthWestern this coming summer as a Corrosion Aide and spend your time working outside helping us to protect our essential underground natural gas system. Under the direction of the local corrosion technician the corrosion aide will be performing pipe to soil potential readings which will require accessing our customer premises taking readings at the meter and then downloading the information into our data base. They will also be involved with other cathodic survey work as directed. Excellent training for success provided!!!!!

About this job :

• Completing mandatory compliance surveys pertaining to corrosion control on steel distribution lines
• Providing assistance to the Division Corrosion Technician on various assigned tasks
• Data entry into a handheld device
• Work is 4-10 hour days per week. Three-day weekends
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position including walking for up to 8 hours per day lifting up to 35 pounds working in inclement weather and traveling within defined areas
