[job_card.job_description]Competitive weekly pay starting at $22.25 / hour, increasing to $26.50 / hour after training and certification. Incentives for recommending safety products, such as $5 for every set of wiper blades added. A comprehensive benefits package valued at over $10,000, including a 401(k) plan with company matching, medical plans, paid time off, holidays, and volunteer days. Options to buy additional PTO or sell unused time (up to 16 hours). Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 annually. Paid training with all necessary tools and resources provided. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license required to operate company vehicles. Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Capability to stand for extended periods and work in tight spaces. Knowledge of safely using hand and power tools. Proficiency in operating a vehicle per all legal regulations. Professionalism and passion for exceptional customer service. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Comfortable handling chemicals as needed. Adaptable scheduling to meet customer needs. Proficient in using diagnostic tools for recalibrations. Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting independently and collaboratively. Ability to read and interpret English language technical directions. Effective oral and written communication skills. Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance according to company standards. Resilience and stability under pressure.

A Brief Overview
As an Auto Glass Technician Apprentice, you'll undergo extensive training to become a skilled technician. After successfully completing our training program, you will achieve the Safelite SafeTech certification and gain essential skills to perform glass repair, replacement, and recalibrations effectively.
What you will do
- Learn the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training.
- Assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
- Support the recalibration of automotive safety systems, including troubleshooting and diagnostic testing.
- Provide customers with additional services and products.
- Study diligently to pass tests for Safelite certification, showcasing your ability in installations.
- Safely operate company and customer vehicles, as well as utilize company-issued tools and chemicals.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all company policies and standards.
