Locums Internal Medicine Physician Preceptor Physician Need

Coverage Needed : ASAP-ongoing

M-F-9am-5pm

Will work in an IM resident driven Graduate Medical Education Ambulatory Clinic as a preceptor for ACGME Internal Medicine Residents

Outpatient work only

Clinical Information :

Physician will be responsible for precepting 4 residents in the morning and 4 in the afternoon

The Ambulatory Clinic Medical Director, who is IM Residency trained and experienced physician will also be in the clinic while the per diem is working

Must be proficient in routine outpatient procedures such as simple laceration, skin biopsies, arthrocentesis, simple i and D, ear irrigation and lavage.

Will have 16 maximum residents in each class

Faculty to resident ratio is no more then 1 in 4

Permanent position is open

EMR is EPIC

Required : Board Certified

Will wait for someone to get license

Must have 2 years experience
