Job Overview : The Filta Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing service efficiency, managing teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction across multiple locations. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of Filtas services and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
Managing Service Technicians
Interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new warehouse technicians
Communicating with the owner regularly to provide updates / briefs on all service related items
The Requirements of an Operations Manager
As an Operations Manager, you may be required to engage in physical activity at various times throughout the week. It is a prerequisite of occupying the position that you be able to handle the following items should you need to :
Lift Seventy-Five (75) pounds from the ground to waist height
Handle hot cooking oil / food debris and other greases / fats
Operate a service vehicle / van
Work early in the morning or late in the evening
Have a flexible work schedule versus a set work schedule
Engage in technological processes such as service inputs, scheduling and communications
Come up with new ways and techniques to accomplish the tasks required of the position

Leadership & Team Management Ability to coach, mentor, and oversee service technicians and support staff.
Operational Efficiency Skilled in optimizing workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation to enhance service delivery.
Customer Relations & Service Quality Ensures that all customer interactions are positive and that service standards are consistently met or exceeded.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making Proactively addresses operational challenges and implements effective solutions.
Safety & Compliance Enforces strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Technical & Mechanical Knowledge Familiarity with kitchen equipment, filtration systems, and service-related technology.
Financial & Budget Management Ability to manage costs, improve efficiency, and drive profitability.
Knowledge of Commercial Kitchens or Ability to Learn Quickly Understands kitchen operations and Filtas role in enhancing sustainability and efficiency.
Valid Drivers License & Reliable Transportation Comfortable traveling to meet clients and conduct site visits in either a personal vehicle or commercial vehicle.
Education / Experience :
Minimum associate's degree with significant relevant experience
Additional Information :
Training will be provided as needed to ensure you are well-equipped to perform your duties effectively.
Schedule :
Schedule will need to be flexible as we implement the companys management structure
Compensation : Ranges from $65k-$75k per year
Location : The warehouse is in Woburn, MA but our three territories range from Andover, MA / Newburyport, MA in the north, down to Franklin, MA / Foxborough, MA in the south and as far west as Hopkinton, MA.
