Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our dealership team. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the dealership, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. You will play a key role in driving profitability and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities :

• Financial Reporting :

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Develop and manage the dealership's annual operating budget and financial forecast, working closely with department managers to align goals and objectives.

Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard dealership assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Manage cash flow and liquidity, including monitoring bank accounts, cash disbursements, and collections.

Supervise inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and aging analysis.

Coordinate tax planning strategies with external tax advisors to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.

Lead and develop the dealership's accounting and finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
