Bilingual (Spanish / English) Escrow Officer / Closer

Title Services, LLC, a full service title insurance agency affiliated with the F.C. Tucker Company, is looking for an Escrow Officer / Closer who would work directly with real estate agents to place new title orders and oversee the closing process. This position will be based out of Title Services Corporate office located at 9201 N. Meridian, Indianapolis.

Position Responsibilities :

• Corresponds and communicates with parties to the transaction including buyers, sellers, realtors, and lenders to complete the closing transaction pursuant to terms of the contract, title commitment and lender instructions.
• Prepares transaction documents on behalf of the company and reviews documents provided by the lender to verify accuracy and compliance. This preparation includes balancing Closing Disclosures pursuant to lender instruction, preparing corresponding ALTA Settlement Statements and additional documentation to complete the closing transaction.
• Completes closing transaction documents by assembling documents; reviewing papers with parties; explaining provisions and procedures; answering questions; checking documents for completeness and accuracy; obtaining signatures.
• Disbursing funds under the terms of the contract and instruction of parties to the contract and maintaining balance of the file at time of disbursement.
• Complies with regulatory requirements and company policy by adhering, and enforcing adherence, to requirements
• Work proactively as a part of a team to ensure time is used efficiently while utilizing all available resources to meet deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements :

HOURS : 8 : 30 - 5 : 00 pm; Monday – Friday; 37.5 hours per week. Overtime may occasionally be required.

Compensation : Starts at $25.00 per hour plus monthly bonus
