Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented System Engineer

to join our Microgrids team. In this role, you will support the pre-sales and system design process

for utility-scale microgrid projects integrating natural gas generators, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Photovoltaic (PV)

technologies. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical acumen with effective communication skills to develop system configurations, performance analyses, and compelling technical proposals that support equipment sales and customer success. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to interpret customer requirements and translate them into optimized technical solutions.
• Develop comprehensive technical proposals

for BESS and PV systems, including architecture design, equipment selection, and performance modeling.

electrical equipment, such as transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.

and ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., IEEE 1547, UL 1741).

to ensure proposed solutions align with product capabilities and roadmap developments.

by producing accurate, detailed, and customer-focused technical documentation.

to internal product teams regarding emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.

to ensure long-term reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

in utility-scale BESS and / or PV

project design or engineering.

for customer meetings and project support.

Preferred Qualifications

Estimated Min Rate : $112000.00

Estimated Max Rate : $160000.00
