GENERAL FUNCTION :
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a licensed provider of behavioral and developmental support services. The organization delivers individualized services under the Medicaid waiver for persons with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities, ensuring compliance with state regulations and evidence-based ABA practices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, PEAK) to identify behavioral functions, strengths, and skill deficits.
- Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) targeting replacement behaviors and reducing problem behaviors using empirically supported interventions.
- Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff in BSP implementation and data collection procedures.
- Conduct procedural integrity checks and evaluate data collection reliability, providing feedback and retraining as needed.
- Respond to behavioral crises and provide clinical guidance, including on-site support when required.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with billing and reporting standards.
- Deliver Telehealth services as appropriate, adhering to best practices and obtaining informed consent.
- Participate in planning meetings, professional development (e.g., Journal Club), and organizational quality management initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including state officials, support coordinators, families, and colleagues.
- Adhere to all professional and ethical standards set forth by the BACB.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.Must obtain Tennessee licensure and status as an approved DDA Behavior Services Provider prior to hire.Medical & Physical Requirements :
Must meet medical record requirements as mandated by governingentities.
Position requires standing / walking for extended periods, occasional lifting up to 40 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and travel for meetings / trainings, including overnight trips.Requires use of all five senses and the ability to communicate effectively in person and by phone.Licenses / Certificates :

Full-time position with potential for hours exceeding 40 per week, including availability outside normal office hours for urgent matters.Performs other duties as assigned by the Statewide Director of Behavioral Services, COO, or CEO.
